Vice President of Sales
As Vice President of Sales, Joanne is responsible for generating predictable and repeatable revenue for Starling through both direct and indirect channels. As a growth stage company, this position is responsible for scaling up the sales team and establishing and ensuring adherence to best practice sales processes.
Joanne’s career includes extensive experience in the health, wellness, benefits and disability management sectors. Prior to Starling, Joanne was National Director of Sales at League and VP Sales and Account Management, Western Canada at Homewood Health. She began her career in the insurance sector as a Rehabilitation Specialist with Sunlife, conducting 3-point assessments in the field, assessing the claimant’s ability to return to work.
She holds a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) from Simon Fraser University.
